Vintage Base Ball Festival

This is a new event for us. We have been doing out Vintage Base Ball Festival in the Spring for the last few years and since it is loved so much by it's fans, we are going to be adding a Fall Festival in 2020!

We are going to have a weekend of Vintage Base Ball with games being played between different teams all day Saturday and all day Sunday. Bring the family out to see how the game was played 150 years ago and marvel at how much it has changed over the years. Kids and adults alike will be amazed at how the game was played.

These teams play by the original rules of base ball along with vintage uniforms and equipment. It is truly amazing to watch them play the game the way that it was originally intended to be played. The kids will not believe how they can be up close to the players and see how the game they know so well started off.

Between games you can wander through the village and check out all of our period authentic buildings. All buildings will be open and House Parents present to talk with you about the building and the Village. We will also have some great food for sale at our kitchen.

Hours: 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM

Cost: $5 per person 16 and older which will get you in to see as many of the games per day as you would like.
