Candlelight Walk

The 2nd night of Candlelight was appreciated so much by our visitors we have decided to make it a permanent thing. This year we had a lot of people who were coming to the Pioneer Village for the first time ever during this event and it was because we had made it more than one day in December so we are so excited to keep this going and to keep this seasonal family tradition alive for so many people.

Take a step back into time as the village spends the night being illuminated by candle light. 

We will take you back to a time when Christmas time was celebrated in the most basic of ways. All of our buildings will be open for the public to go through and once it gets dark the whole village will be lit up by candle light along our paths between the buildings and within the buildings themselves. 

Come out and celebrate Winter time with us at one of our few night time events and see how this time of year used to be celebrated before all of the hustle and bustle of the holidays. 

This year we will also have Santa with us on December 12th!!! He heard about our Maple Syrup and wanted to make a visit so we worked out a deal with him to be there during the event on the 12th! He had such an amazing time with the kids (both young and old) on the 5th that he wanted to come back on the 12th!
